DESIGN DEVELOPMENT STAGE

  • Firming up organisation of wet areas (generally in plan, not detail)
  • Liaising with authorities as required
  • Provision of advice on selection and engagement of consultants
  • Briefing and coordination of selected consultants
  • Meetings with Client(s) and revisions as required
  • Preliminary discussions with Town Planners if required
  • Preparation and lodgment of documents with the Council for Town Planning application where required
  • Negotiation with and provision of further information to Town Planners after lodgment of application

Completed and approved Design Development drawings are generally of the type that would be used for a Town Planning application. They also form the brief for the Contract Documentation stage.
