DESIGN DEVELOPMENT STAGE
- Development of sketch design drawings to adequately explain the design
- Firming up organisation of wet areas (generally in plan, not detail)
- Liaising with authorities as required
- Provision of advice on selection and engagement of consultants
- Briefing and coordination of selected consultants
- Meetings with Client(s) and revisions as required
- Preliminary discussions with Town Planners if required
- Preparation and lodgment of documents with the Council for Town Planning application where required
- Negotiation with and provision of further information to Town Planners after lodgment of application
- Provision of Opinion of Probable Cost
Completed and approved Design Development drawings are generally of the type that would be used for a Town Planning application. They also form the brief for the Contract Documentation stage. |
